Lincoln Boyhood National Park (Lincoln City)

For the past twenty-one years, I’ve served as a Park Ranger at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial’s Living Historical Farm. Dressed in period clothing, I love to greet visitors and talk about Abraham Lincoln’s youth in Indiana and what it was like to live in the 1820s. I’m always researching time period animals and crops so the farm is as close as possible to what it was like in the 1820s. Aside from greeting visitors, I plow the crop fields, plant the garden and crops and take care of the animals.
