  • Indiana businesses welcomed over 74 million visitors in 2014
  • Total Indiana tourism spending in 2014 was $10.7 billion
  • Direct employment within Indiana travel, tourism and hospitality industry eclipses 144,200 making it the sixth-largest industry in the state(excluding government)
  • Indiana tourism supports over 192,000 jobs
  • If tourism didn't exist in Indiana, each Hoosier household would have to pay an average of $500 in additional state and local taxes
