Warm Glow Candle (Centerville)

In 1994, my husband, Alan Carberry, and I created the Warm Glow Candle Company in the basement of our home located on the historic National Road. After many tedious months of working with several combinations, we finally accomplished our goal and succeeded in creating a candle that is highly fragrant, long lasting, clean burning and cost effective. We finally had the candle we were proud to name “Warm Glow.”

In 2000, we purchased Sweet Liberty Candle Company, originally founded in Lancaster, PA. Warm Glow has kept the original ideas of the Sweet Liberty Company and incorporated new and enhanced scents to the expanding product line. And, Warm Glow continuously tests and develops new fragrances to fulfill our growing customer requests.

With the tremendous growth of our business and the popularity of Warm Glow candles, our company has expanded production. Warm Glow is now housed in an 80,000 square foot facility with the capacity to produce up to 15,000 candles per day. Our store, located right off of I-70, is a true destination - including a gigantic candle and a 20,000 square foot shopping mecca. Not only do we produce over 70 candle fragrances, we also offer bath and body products, home decor, chocolate and gourmet food, Indiana wine and beer, gift baskets and pet items. We even have our own Stone Hearth Cafe (and the nicest restrooms on I-70!).
